Same-sex marriage became legal in Austria.

Austria has recognized registered same-sex partnerships since 1 January 2010. However, it was only on 1 January 2019, that same-sex marriage became legal in Austria.

Because of this, there were 632 registered gay marriages in Austria in 2021.
