Wolfgang Mozart’s opera “Idomeneo” premiered at the Cuvilliés Theatre in Munich, Germany.
Idomeneo is an opera seria in three acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The libretto was adapted by Giuseppe Parini from a French text by Antoine Danchet, which had been set to music by Henri Desmarets in 1697. The opera was first performed on 29 January 1781 at the Cuvilliés Theatre in Munich.
